The Ontario Financing Authority (OFA) is seeking a Manager, Investments to lead work that supports the management and oversight of investment activities and related portfolios. As a leader within a collaborative team, you will provide strategic advice to senior decision-makers, assess investment opportunities and risks, and help ensure investment mandates remain aligned with organizational objectives and government priorities. - Advance Protect Ontario Account priorities and commitments by ensuring work progresses on schedule and aligns with strategic objectives and implementation plans.
- Enable informed government decision-making by providing senior leaders with clear, timely briefings, submissions, and recommendations on Fund priorities and activities.
- Support effective investment and Fund management decisions by assessing opportunities, risks, and implications and providing strategic advice on investment activities.
- Strengthen collaboration and advance Fund objectives by building and maintaining relationships with investment partners, stakeholders, and government partners.
- Promote effective governance and oversight of the Fund by ensuring decision-makers have accurate and comprehensive information on performance, risks, and market developments.
- Support the achievement of Fund objectives by evaluating investment manager performance, conducting due diligence, and identifying factors that influence results.
- Improve understanding of Fund performance and emerging market developments through research, analysis, and reporting that informs ongoing management and strategic direction.
