about this team

The Sample Operations team manages the end-to-end lifecycle of product samples, including ordering, receiving, distribution, inventory management, utilisation, and exit. Samples are a critical business tool that enable cross-functional partners to make informed product and business decisions. Through operational excellence, accurate data management, and strong partnership, the Sample Operations team ensures product is available at the right place and time to support key business objectives.

a day in the life: what you'll do

The sample operations coordinator supports the creation, processing and distribution of key information specific to the internal use product programs. They work to ensure the accuracy of data specific to order management and reporting for the IUP program. The coordinator also ensures sample timelines are accurate and partners are aware of and adhering to deadlines.

  • Create, validate, distribute, and maintain sample orders and related programme data.
  • Track key GTM and sample ordering milestones, shipment status, delivery confirmation, and outstanding actions, including weekly freight audit assessments.
  • Monitor shared communication channels and provide clear, timely follow-up.
  • Creates and distributes orders to key global partners and maintains communications with partners throughout the buy process to remove barriers to hitting key by-whens
  • Partner with the Lululemon Production office (LLO) Sample Team to identify pain points in the order management process, and work collaboratively with the Sample Operations team to identify solves
  • Works with the internal sample operations teams to identify gaps directly impacting sample receiving, distribution and management of samples.
  • Provides additional support for sample ordering across multiple departments where necessary.

qualifications

  • Experience coordinating operational programmes, orders, inventory, production, logistics, or data-intensive workflows.
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and have a willingness to learn and deepen knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Experience in the apparel industry an asset, especially with specialized knowledge of apparel production.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a seasonal operating environment.
  • Self starter - must be able to identify gaps and jump into solves quickly and efficiently to lessen organizational impact
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Must be an effective team player - must possess ability to relate well to people and work in cooperation with others effectively

compensation and benefits package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $59,800 - $78,500 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and, subject to program eligibility requirements.
