Ready to suit up as a Bank Security Guard
What matters most in this role is your ability to create a welcoming and professional environment while building positive relationships with clients, employees, and visitors. As a Bank Security Guard, you will be the first point of contact for many individuals entering the branch, providing exceptional customer service, assisting with inquiries, and helping people feel safe and supported. Along with delivering a high standard of customer care, you will play an important role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring activities, responding to incidents and emergencies, enforcing site policies, and addressing trespassing or other security concerns in a calm and professional manner.

Responsibilities for Bank Security Guard
- Customer service duties like welcome, check identification, and guide visitors
- Manage access control
- Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks
- Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Perform computer tasks
- Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Answer questions in person or by phone
Qualifications for Bank Security Guard
- Authorized to work in Canada with
- Hold a valid BC Security License
- OFA 1 First Aid Certification (an asset)
- Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Alert, detail-oriented, with strong situational awareness
- Physically able to patrol, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
- Strong report writing and technology skills
