This is a 12-month contract opportunity.
What You'll Do:- Provide day-to-day HR support across various Corporate functions, assisting with employee inquiries, HR processes, and issue resolution
- Support the execution of HR programs and annual processes, including compensation reviews, performance management activities, talent initiatives, onboarding, and offboarding
- Respond to employee and leader inquiries and direct individuals to appropriate HR resources, policies, and programs
- Support Talent Acquisition activities by updating job descriptions, opening and tracking requisitions, and reviewing salary recommendations
- Act as a liaison between employees, leaders, Disability Management, and HR Operations to coordinate employee leave processes
- Maintain employee records and process HR transactions within SuccessFactors and other HR systems
- Coordinate HR-related activities with Centers of Excellence to support the delivery of programs and services to employees and leaders
- Prepare documentation and provide administrative support for employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and workplace concerns
- Compile, analyze, and report on HR data and metrics, including headcount, turnover, leave trends, and other workforce information
- Support change management activities related to organizational changes and business initiatives
- Ensure HR documentation, processes, and records comply with employment legislation, company policies, and internal procedures
- Support HR process improvement initiatives through documentation, tracking, reporting, and coordination activities
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, Employee Services, HR Administration, or a related role
- Experience supporting HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, leaves, recruitment coordination, and HR systems administration
- Working knowledge of employment legislation and HR practices within Canada; exposure to U.S. employment practices is considered an asset
- Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when managing employee records, documentation, and HR transactions
- Strong customer-service orientation and commitment to developing positive working relationships with employees, leaders, and HR stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple locations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to apply sound judgment when dealing with confidential employee information and routine HR matters
- Experience preparing reports and analyzing HR data using Microsoft Excel and HR information systems
- Experience working with HRIS platforms; SuccessFactors experience is considered an asset
- Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation or progress toward designation is considered an asset
