• Ensure the timely and orderly flow of sample analysis in the laboratory
• Perform upkeep of laboratory instruments and equipment
• Regularly participate in the Laboratory QA/QC program
• Analyze samples following developed procedures
• Enter, review, and communicate analysis results to our internal customers

• Ability to work days and nights, rotation shift required.
• Chemical Technology Diploma or Chemistry Degree (4 years) required
• 1-2 years of Laboratory Technician experience will be a strong asset.
• Passion and commitment for Safety
• Demonstrated history of upholding "Respect in the Workplace" values
• Problem solving and time organization abilities
• Excellent data entry skills with working knowledge of Excel and SAP

• Experience to operate and calibrate analytical instrumentation (XRF, AA, pH meter, balances, etc.)

• Ability to work shift work with minimal supervision
• Ability to safely lift and handle samples up to 50lbs
