About the Opportunity

• Develop and execute Shannex's enterprise AI strategy and multi-year roadmap, identifying high-impact opportunities that improve operations, enhance experiences, and deliver measurable business value.
• Partner with leaders across Technology, Software Engineering, Analytics, Innovation, and Operations to evaluate, prioritize, and deliver AI initiatives from concept through enterprise adoption.
• Lead enterprise AI enablement by developing governance frameworks, responsible AI standards, training, communications, and change management strategies that drive adoption across the organization.
• Establish performance measures and reporting that monitor AI adoption, value realization, delivery risks, and business outcomes while informing strategic investment decisions.
• Build strong relationships with executives, business leaders, technology partners, vendors, and industry stakeholders to advance Shannex's AI capabilities and innovation agenda.
• Lead and develop a high-performing AI team while overseeing the AI portfolio, including budgets, vendors, tooling, and enterprise priorities to ensure sustainable, scalable delivery.

About You

In addition to placing high value on innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (Master's degree considered an asset).
• 5+ years of experience leading enterprise technology, AI, digital transformation, or innovation initiatives, including experience delivering AI solutions at scale.
• Deep understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, and enterprise AI platforms such as Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, AWS, or Google Cloud AI.
• Experience developing AI strategies, governance frameworks, and responsible AI practices.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data governance, MLOps, and modern software development practices.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and translate emerging technologies into measurable business outcomes.
• Strong business acumen with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading organizational change and building high-performing teams.
• Experience in healthcare or another highly regulated industry is considered an asset.
• Experience managing teams, budgets, and enterprise technology portfolios.
