Hourly Wage Range: $19.20 to $22.05

It is about getting the right part to the right person at the right time, keeping technicians productive, preventing repair delays, managing inventory accurately, and providing the service that keeps customers coming back.

Steele Ford Lincoln is looking for an experienced Senior Parts Advisor to join our team.

This is an opportunity for someone who understands the pace of a busy dealership Parts Department and is ready to take ownership of the day-to-day operation while supporting our technicians, Service team, retail customers and wholesale partners.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Parts Advisor, you'll play a key role in keeping our Parts and Service operations moving.

You'll:

• Support technicians, Service Advisors, retail customers, wholesale customers and external vendors with timely and accurate parts fulfillment.
• Process retail, wholesale and internal Parts orders using multiple parts catalogues and systems.
• Receive, inspect, organize and distribute incoming parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory, monitor stock levels and identify potential obsolescence.
• Perform bin counts and inventory checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Manage purchase orders for stock and special-order parts, including larger inventory purchases.
• Handle manufacturer and supplier returns, credits, discrepancies and backorders.
• Manage warranty parts and ensure supporting documentation is accurate and complete.
• Provide technical parts information and support to Service Advisors, Technicians and Body Shop teams.
• Manage special orders, follow-ups and parts-related issues to help keep repairs moving.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email and in person, including preparing quotes and price matching where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate invoices, credits and supplemental documentation within Parts management systems.
• Support and provide work direction to junior Parts team members when required.
• Work closely with Service and other dealership departments to coordinate parts availability with repair schedules.
• Keep the Parts Department organized, efficient, safe and ready to support a fast-paced dealership.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who already understands the Parts business and can hit the ground running.

You bring:

• 3+ years of automotive Parts experience
• Strong knowledge of dealership Parts systems and procedures
• Excellent understanding of automotive parts and catalogues
• Strong computer skills and experience working with industry-specific software
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service information and parts catalogues
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• A team-first approach and the confidence to support others
• Ability to lift and move parts weighing up to 50 lbs
