The Health, Wealth, and Mobility team is on a mission to continually enhance our employee experience. We are looking for an experienced Benefits Specialist to support the administration, operational excellence, and ongoing evolution of lululemon's health and financial wellness programs globally and across North America. This role serves as a key resource for employees, vendors, HR partners, and internal stakeholders, helping to ensure an exceptional employee experience through accurate program administration, responsive support, data-driven insights, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position supports a broad range of programs including ESPP and retirement plans, financial wellbeing initiatives, spending accounts, and other key components of lululemon's benefits offering. The Benefit Specialist reports to the Manager, Heath & Wellbeing.

core responsibilities

  • Manage the high-volume administration and day-to-day operations of employee benefits, wellbeing, savings, retirement, and financial wellness programs across North America and global markets.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees, HR partners, internal stakeholders, and external vendors by responding to inquiries, resolving escalations, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Lead and support financial wellbeing programs by collaborating with internal partners and external vendors to deliver communications and initiatives that increase employee awareness, understanding, engagement, participation, and long-term financial wellness.
  • Partner with Program Manager(s) and global stakeholders to implement, enhance, and expand programs in new and existing markets.
  • Support vendor relationship management, including leading recurring meetings with vendors, monitoring service delivery, and managing escalations as required.
  • Execute recurring operational activities, audits, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance-related processes with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Track and analyze participation, utilization, and program performance data to identify trends, provide insights, and support ongoing program optimization.
  • Maintain employee-facing resources, including intranet content, program guides, FAQs, and supporting documentation.
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to monitor file integrations and support issue resolution to ensure accurate and timely program administration.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the employee experience through continuous improvement initiatives.

qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration for a global organization.
  • Experience supporting employee savings, retirement, and financial wellness programs is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills both written & verbal, including the proven ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable working with large amounts of data
  • Highly ethical and able to deal with confidential issues with tact, discretion & confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and able to effectively prioritize and manage time and competing tasks.
  • Proactive, resourceful problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong focus on customer service from an administrative perspective to support inquiries and escalations from employees, internal teams and external partners
  • Proficient in HRIS (Workday experience an asset), intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office software.

compensation and benefits package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $71,400 - $93,800 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
