This exciting opportunity is located at Nutrien's Redwater, Alberta Nitrogen site (approximately 40 km NE of Edmonton) starting in January 2027 for an 8-12 month term. What You'll Do:

• Maintain electrical equipment records, drawings, engineering documentation, and engineering software tools.
• Perform field reviews, equipment inspections, data collection, and verification of electrical systems and assets.
• Support the design, analysis, and optimization of new and upgraded electrical systems and equipment.
• Assist with electrical studies, protection documentation, maintenance planning, and troubleshooting.
• Support Management of Change (MOC), reliability initiatives, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to support safe and reliable plant operation.
• Follow site safety requirements and actively participate in safety initiatives.

What You'll Bring:

• Engineering co-op student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. Preference is for work terms 4 or 5.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with engineering software and electrical drawing tools is considered an asset
• Understanding of electrical fundamentals, power systems, controls, instrumentation, or industrial electrical equipment is considered an asset
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
