An exciting co-op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Vanscoy Site beginning May 2027 for an approximate 16-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position and is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete.
What You'll Do:This role will focus primarily on inventory analysis, with additional support for defined strategic procurement projects
- Support inventory analysis, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Vanscoy site
- Analyze inventory and purchasing data to identify cost savings, sourcing opportunities, and process improvements
- Research products and alternative sourcing options, comparing pricing, availability, lead times, and technical requirements
- Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, Maintenance, Operations, and supplier contacts to support improvements
- Prepare reports, maintain project trackers, and present recommendations to stakeholders
- Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, Technology, or related field
- Completed at least three years of post-secondary education and eligible to complete a 16-month co-op term, with at least one academic term remaining after the work term
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and other technology tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and an interest in procurement, inventory management, and industrial operations
- Experience with procurement, inventory management, SAP, data analysis, or industrial environments is an asset
