What You'll Do:- Update and maintain Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, and Structural drawings by incorporating engineering markups and approved as-built changes using AutoCAD
- Draft new drawings for Projects and Management of Change (MOC) initiatives where engineering and design activities are completed internally
- Maintain drawing revisions and coordinate document review, authentication, and re-authentication in accordance with site document control standards
- Update historical hand drawings to digital CAD files as required
- Publish finalized drawings through the organization's Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and Sharepoint
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure drawing accuracy
- Validate drawing accuracy by physically checking installed equipment within an operating plant
- Manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality drafting support that promotes safe and reliable plant operations
- Diploma or technical education in Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline. Equivalent experience will be considered
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and experience managing engineering drawings in an industrial environment
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, markups, and technical documentation, including Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, and Structural drawings
- Experience updating new and existing technical drawings for an industrial environment is preferred
- Experience managing 3D Model information and integration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, and document management systems; experience with Meridian is an asset
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while demonstrating a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
