OverviewThe Project Specialist will report to the Cernavoda Unit 1 & Qinshan Tooling Project Director and will be responsible for supporting manufacturing, testing and delivery at one of Candu's vendors. In the role of Project Specialist, you will support the Tooling Project Managers by coordinating vendor requests, tracking technical deliverables, maintaining vendor schedules, and facilitating communication across engineering disciplines and project stakeholders. This role will require continuous communication with members of the team, and will be responsible for identifying, planning, coordinating, and supporting the implementation of various scopes of work.
Your role- Coordinates with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, vendors, and Refurbishment teams & vendors to ensure all activities are progressing as per project schedule.
- Coordinates progress meetings, status updates and other planning and execution workshops as needed.
- Working closely with the Project Manager to support project cost forecasting, progress tracking, and performance metrics.
- Coordinating closely with quality assurance to ensure quality requirements of the project are met.
- Liaise with key stakeholders as required generally including engineering, quality, procurement and tooling vendors.
- Maintain a positive relationship with vendor counterparts.
- Provides status and progress reports in support of the Project Manager.
- Ensure a strong nuclear safety culture is reinforced continuously.
- Coordinate with Procurement to track purchase orders, expedite vendor documentation, and monitor status for accurate month‑end reporting, ensuring delays or issues are communicated promptly to the Project Manager.

Work Locations:
- This position will be assigned to one of Candu's Tooling vendors located at either Cambridge or Richmond Hill.
- Travel to Candu's'head office in Mississauga will be periodically required.
