As a Corporate Security Guard in an office envrionment, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

Responsibilities for a Corporate Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcome, check identification, and guide visitors
• Manage access control
• Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Perform computer tasks
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Answer questions in person or by phone

Qualifications for a Corporate Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid BC security license
• First aid certification - an asset
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
