about this team
FP&A is responsible for planning and managing lululemon's overall financial performance and serves as a key business partner in strategic and operational decision-making. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting enterprise growth and margin productivity initiatives through strategic financial analysis, business case development, forecasting support, project leadership, and executive reporting.
This role combines recurring FP&A responsibilities, including monthly performance reporting and financial analysis, with strategic initiative work such as savings programs, growth investments, and enterprise-wide business cases. The successful candidate will partner across FP&A and cross-functional teams to develop financial methodologies, evaluate opportunities and risks, drive workstream accountability, and support executive decision-making through clear and compelling financial storytelling.
We are looking for a highly analytical, self-directed individual with strong business acumen, exceptional organizational skills, the ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for problem-solving and tackling complex business challenges.
core responsibilities
Analysis:
- Lead financial analysis, business case development, forecasting support, and strategic deep dives to evaluate business opportunities, performance trends, productivity initiatives, and investment decisions.
- Develop methodologies to quantify financial impact, track results, identify risks and opportunities, and support enterprise decision-making through clear recommendations and insights.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to synthesize information, challenge assumptions, and translate business questions into structured financial analyses
Project management:
- Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, ensuring progress against milestones, deliverables, and financial targets.
- Coordinate stakeholders across Finance, Technology, and business teams to align priorities, identify dependencies, mitigate risks, and drive successful execution.
- Escalate key risks, decisions, and trade-offs as appropriate while maintaining clear visibility of progress and outcomes
Leadership:
- Independently own assigned analyses, projects, and strategic workstreams from problem definition through recommendation and communication.
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions, drive alignment among stakeholders, and influence decisions through data-driven recommendations and strong business partnership.
- Contribute to the development of new processes, methodologies, and programs that improve planning effectiveness and business performance.
Executive storytelling:
- Develop executive-ready materials that clearly communicate financial performance, business insights, strategic recommendations, risks, and opportunities.
- Distill complex financial analyses into concise narratives tailored to senior leadership audiences, enabling faster and better decision-making.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc leadership reviews and business presentations.
qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration. Professional designation or MBA a plus.
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis and program management experience with fast-paced business environments.
- Retail industry experience is an asset.
- Expert knowledge across MS suite: Excel, Work, Powerpoint, and outlook is required. Working knowledge of Oracle EPM and Power BI an asset.
- Extremely organized, thorough and takes pride in quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets while maintaining attention to detail.
- Capable of converting business needs into practical technical solutions
- Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a time sensitive manner.
- Ability to cultivate strong business partnerships with all levels, including Senior Leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and create structure where processes, information, or ownership may be unclear.

compensation and benefits package
lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $88,200 - $132,400 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
