Ready to suit up as a Mobile Tactical Security Guard (Day Shift)

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Your strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and communication skills are essential in this role.

This position is Day shift only (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and includes a mix of mobile patrols and static security duties, with some assignments requiring sitting for extended periods of time.

Patrol Areas
Work assignments are mainly based in Downtown Toronto Parks (M6H 4B2). Employees are required to report to the North York office at the start of each shift to retrieve the vehicle.What's in it for you?

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard

• Conduct mobile and foot patrols of assigned areas

Perform static security duties, including monitoring while seated for long periods

Enforce Trespass to Property Act and apply trespass-with-rights procedures

Monitor parks, public spaces, and facilities during overnight hours

Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies promptly

Complete detailed incident reports and documentation

• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada

Valid Ontario Security Guard License

Valid G2 or G Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract (required)

First Aid & CPR certification (required)

Ability to work Day shifts only (7 AM – 7 PM)

Ability to sit for extended periods and patrol by foot and vehicle

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Must successfully complete Handcuff and Baton training

Strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills
