What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

This position follows a Continental Night Shift only (1900-0700hrs) and static security duties. Some assignments may require sitting or standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard

Conduct mobile and foot patrols of assigned areasPerform static security duties, including monitoring while seated for long periodsEnforce Trespass to Property Act and apply trespass-with-rights proceduresMonitor parks, public spaces, and facilities during overnight hoursRespond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies promptlyComplete detailed incident reports and documentationLiaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required

Qualifications

• • Authorized to work in Canada
  Valid Ontario Security Guard License
Valid G2 or G Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract (Preferred )First Aid & CPR certification Continental Night shift only (1900-0700hrs)Ability to sit for extended periods and patrol by foot and vehicleComfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsMust successfully complete Handcuff and Baton trainingStrong observation, communication, and decision-making skills
