As an Integrator – Software Developer, you will design, build, test, and maintain Python-based applications that directly enhance operational safety and efficiency. You will work closely with engineering and QA teams to ensure software aligns with safety-critical requirements, engaging with site stakeholders to validate application performance in real-world environments. Feedback gathered from the field will be translated into actionable improvements to boost reliability and production support. This co-op is a 1 year term starting in September.
What You'll Do:- Develop, maintain, and support robust Python applications for operational safety
- Refactor and optimize existing code to improve performance and maintainability
- Diagnose issues, reproduce defects, and implement effective, timely fixes
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and site teams to validate application behavior in the field
- Integrate stakeholder feedback into continuous improvement efforts
- Pursuing an undergraduate/graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics
- Strong programming fundamentals with proficiency in Python syntax and semantics
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Commitment to code quality, attention to detail, and rigorous testing practices
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and evolving systems
