We are looking for a Regional Director, IPC Wealth to join Canada Life. Reporting to the Head of Advisor Partnerships & Engagement, IPC Wealth, you will play a key role in strengthening advisor relationships and driving growth across the IPC Wealth dealership. Acting as a trusted business partner and brand ambassador, you will work closely with top advisors, internal leaders, and centres of excellence to increase engagement, deepen adoption of IPC Wealth solutions, and enhance the overall advisor experience.
This role combines relationship management, business development, strategic planning, and distribution leadership.
The successful candidate may be based in various locations across Canada. Work location will be dependent on business needs and the availability of an IPC/Canada Life office in or near the candidate's location.
What You Will Do:
- Advisor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with IPC advisors and strategic partners to support advisor growth and business success.
- Distribution Support: Provide specialized wealth-focused distribution support and act as a trusted resource regarding the IPC Wealth value proposition, programs, platforms, and resources.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities to increase advisor engagement, drive asset growth, and expand utilization of IPC Wealth services and solutions.
- Advisor Practice Growth: Partner with advisors to help identify business opportunities, improve practice effectiveness, and enhance client engagement strategies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong working relationships across Canada Life, IPC Wealth, Financial Horizons, and other distribution channels to ensure alignment and maximize business impact.
- Market Insights: Share industry trends, competitive intelligence and advisor feedback to help influence strategic decisions and business priorities.
- Advocacy & Influence: Act as a champion for advisor needs and ensure opportunities, challenges, and feedback are communicated effectively to internal stakeholders.
What You Will Bring:
- Wealth Industry Experience: Strong knowledge of the wealth management industry, advisor distribution channels, and the Canadian wealth dealership ecosystem.
- Relationship Building Skills: Proven ability to establish credibility, influence stakeholders, and maintain strong advisor relationships.
- Business Development Acumen: Demonstrated success supporting advisor growth, asset gathering, or distribution-related initiatives.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to assess advisor opportunities, identify growth strategies, and execute business development plans.
- Consultative Approach: Strong coaching, influencing, and partnership skills with an advisor-first mindset.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to navigate complex advisor situations and build practical, business-focused solutions.
- Collaboration: Experience working across multiple teams and functions to achieve common objectives.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and respond effectively to changing advisor and business needs.
- Industry Credentials: Relevant wealth management designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Planner (F.Pl.), or other related industry credentials are considered an asset.
- Mobility: Ability to travel within the assigned region to support advisors and participate in meetings, events, and business development activities.

The base salary for this position is between $128,200 - $178,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
