Based in one of our Greater Toronto Area offices and reporting to the Land Development Manager, you'll contribute to preliminary and detailed civil design and project coordination for greenfield, brownfield, and infill land development projects across Ontario, with a particular focus on the Greater Toronto Area. This opportunity offers broad design exposure and a strong foundation for continued career growth within WSP's Land Development team.

Your Impact

• Contribute civil design solutions within collaborative, multidisciplinary teams delivering complex land development projects.

• Produce concept, preliminary, detailed, tender, construction, and as-constructed drawings, including plans and profiles, sections, and details.

• Design practical infrastructure solutions that support resilient, connected, and sustainable communities across Ontario.

• Prepare clear technical reports, contract documents, and project records that support informed decisions and quality delivery.

• Collaborate in project planning and coordination to help teams meet client commitments, schedules, and project objectives.

• Develop presentation materials and proposals, and contribute field observations that connect design intent with real-world conditions.

The Skills That Set You Apart

• A degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college, supported by coursework in urban water systems, municipal infrastructure, construction engineering, hydrology, and transportation or transit.

• Ideally, 1–3 years of relevant experience supporting civil engineering design or land development projects.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, with the ability to contribute to accurate engineering drawings and design packages, is an asset.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Project is an asset.

• Ability to interpret technical information, coordinate details, and communicate design considerations clearly in a multidisciplinary project environment.

• Readiness to complete field assignments as required; a valid Ontario driver's licence is an asset.

Compensation

• AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 - $102,500

• MB & ON: $70,600 - $97,200

• NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $69,900 - $92,900
