Job Description: The Nurse - Resident Care Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care and service provision to the client/residents within the continuing care home. As an experienced practitioner, the Resident Care Coordinator acts in a leadership role to provide specialized clinical expertise, coordination of resident care, and support and teaching to the resident care team (including staff, residents, and residents’ support team) within a collaborative environment. The routine procedures are generally predetermined but critical thinking and independent judgment is an integral part of the position.

Education
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
Licenses
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant long term care nursing experience
Other Education and Training
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
