Job Description: Under the direction of the manager, the incumbent will provide clinical psychology services to children and youth referred through the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry through the behavioral health Unit and the Dubé Child and Adolescent Unit. Also, on rare occasions, be asked to support other areas of Child and Youth Mental Health and Addiction Services. Clinical services will include psychological assessments, psychometric testing, diagnostic services, treatment and consultation. Will within the Behavioral Health Program as part of the multidisciplinary team in the context of a range of services to children and adolescents who are experiencing significant distress or dysfunction related to mental disorder, trauma, cumulative stress and/or problems in daily living. Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members and relevant community stakeholders. They may be asked to provide clinical supervision to clinical psychology practicum students and/or clinical psychology residents. Will occasionally provide input into program development, planning and evaluation.

Licenses

  • Registered doctoral Psychologist with Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE)

Other Education and Training

  • PhD Internship Training from a CPA accredited (or equivalent) residency required
