THE ROLEThe Naval Procurement Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless coordination, delivery, and evaluation of supplies and services for the Naval Fleets. The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for managing financial requirements, serving as the supply account holder for Non-Public Funds (NPF) and Public assets, and coordinating supply delivery. Additionally, the Procurement Coordinator will collect, analyze, and prepare data and reports related to Naval procurement, while also researching and drafting procurement materials and correspondence.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline and some years of experience in asset management/administration or in a related field

OTHER INFORMATIONThis is an on-site position with an assigned work location. This may include working in a warehouse environment.
Perform heavy lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (i.e. 50lbs/23kg or more)
Sedentary work, primarily performed at a desk and/or in front of a computer screen.
As part of the selection process, the successful candidate must successfully complete a Reliability status security screening.

Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.
