- Conduct audiometric tests and examinations
- Conduct speech-language tests and examinations
- Diagnose and evaluate speech, voice, resonance, language, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders
- Follow up with patients to ensure assigned remedial programs are correctly followed and completed
- Conduct research related to hearing and hearing disorders
- Diagnose the degree and type of hearing impairment
- Plan and implement habilitation/rehabilitation programs
- Provide information to patients and families regarding the nature, extent, impact and implications of hearing loss and treatment Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists Certification
