Overview
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 5 years or more Tasks
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Instruct apprentices
- Utilize hand and power tools
- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Repair or replace interior components
- Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
