- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
- Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
- Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed
- Move tools, equipment and other materials
- Monitor engine, machinery and equipment indicators
- Clean machines and immediate work areas
- Assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment
- Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment
- Assist in operation, repair and maintenance
- Set up and operate machines to clean, cut, cook, smoke, brine, dehydrate or otherwise process fish or seafood products
- Set up and operate machines to can, bag, box or otherwise package fish and seafood products
- Check products and packaging for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards and perform corrective machine adjustments as required Equipment and machinery experience
