- Evaluate daily operations
- Investigate outbreaks of diseases and food poisoning
- Provide information/training to employers, employees and general public
- Review HR directives to assure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Conduct surveys and monitoring programs of the natural environment
- Collect samples of materials for analysis
- Inspect spills of hazardous chemicals or products
- Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards
- Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses
- Develop and implement health and safety plans
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Advise senior management
- Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury Supervision
