Overview

- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods
- Supervise and care for children
- Take children to and from school and to appointments Target audience
- Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children
- Toddler to pre-school (1 - 3 years)
- School age (6 - 12 years) Security and safety
- Criminal record check Support for youths
- Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth
- Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
