About the Job
As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in our projects by:
- Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roof systems.
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Instructing apprentices and sharing your expertise.
- Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various establishments, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
Requirements
Education
- Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in the field is an asset.
