In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting welding specifications, operating advanced welding equipment, and ensuring the highest quality standards in your work.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications with precision.
• Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• Examine welds to ensure they meet established standards and specifications.
• Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
• Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal components.
• Utilize oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) effectively.
• Determine the weldability of various materials.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment safely.
• Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using previously set-up welding machines.
• Bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams using brazing or soldering machines.
• Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines.

Requirements

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience
