Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain your work area to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
• Organize and manage inventory effectively.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Check the proper thickness of plating using micrometers, calipers, or other devices.
• Operate and control various equipment, including electroplating and hot-dip metal plating equipment.
• Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes.
• Prepare and apply stencils, decals, or other decorative items on finished products.
• Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications.
• Select appropriate paint or mix paints as needed.
• Tend automatic metal coating machines that convey objects through cleaning, rinsing, and plating solutions.
• Operate equipment to prepare items for protective or decorative coatings.
