Security Supervisor

This is a flexible role with full-time and part-time schedules available, offering a great opportunity to apply your skills and grow within a hospitality setting.

What You’ll Do

• Provide security coverage to help maintain a safe, secure environment for guests and staff

• Monitor and respond to incidents, concerns, and unusual activity in a timely, professional manner

• Support day-to-day security operations, including patrols and risk awareness throughout the property

• Communicate clearly with hotel leadership and relevant team members to ensure consistent follow-through

• Contribute to a positive guest experience by staying visible, approachable, and solutions-focused

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation as required

What We’re Looking For

• Valid BC Security Workers License

• Relevant security experience and confidence working in a fast-paced hospitality environment

• Strong communication skills with a calm, professional approach to conflict resolution

• Reliability, good judgment, and a strong sense of responsibility

• Ability to work independently while staying connected with the team

• ●Valid BC Security Workers License
• ●Serving it Right
• ●Basic First Aid (OFA 1)
• ●Flexible availability including afternoons, evenings (*Must be available weekends*)
• ●2 years of related experience
• ●The ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• ●Conduct patrols of various areas
• ●Knowledge of security protocol and procedures
• ●Professional approach to the role; acting in a disciplined, honest and ethical manner
• ●Possess sound judgement and decision-making skills, with a ‘hands on’ approach to problem solving; strong conflict resolution skills required
• ●A calm demeanor
• ●Possess strong knowledge of security procedures
• ●Strong observation and communication skills
• ●Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
