Job Description

Down East Hospitality Inc. is a multi-unit restaurant franchise that owns and operates 8 Tim Hortons Restaurants across HRM. We are looking for someone who has at least 1-3 years of Tim Hortons experience and has knowledge of the quick service industry, taking pride in supporting the General Manager and Owner in the day-to-day operations of our fast-paced business.

What you’ll do

· Responsible for supporting restaurants with daily operations

· Pick up daily deposits from each restaurant and drop off at local bank

· Transfer product, coin, equipment, etc. within restaurants when needed

· Deliver paperwork/supplies to and from restaurants and head office

· Help support restaurants and serve guests when restaurants are short staff, supporting the team and motivating them to meet speed of service goals

· Able to complete daily deposit and support restaurant with cash handling procedures

· Assist with calling support and troubleshooting when technical issues arise

· Assist with calibrations and cleaning of major equipment, switching out broken equipment

· Assist with covering shifts and/or transporting team members from one restaurant to another

· Complete restaurant self-audits and help prepare the restaurants for their inspections

· Assist in serving guests where necessary and respond to special guest requests in

· a friendly manner

· Comfortable communicating with Restaurant Manager and Supervisors

· Help train new team members, rotate between restaurants to give support on the floor

· Coach and mentor the team when needed

Salary to be determined based on skills and experience.

Schedule:

Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7am-3pm

OFF Tuesday and Wednesday (we are flexible with changing your days off but weekends are required)


REQUIREMENTS
  • Drivers License and access to your own vehicle
  • Legally allowed to work in Canada
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Team Player
  • Tim Hortons Experience
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and strong multi-tasking skills
