Today, we continue to produce superior, specialized Babbitt bearings built to OEM specifications.Reporting to the Shop Foreman, the Senior Shipper / Receiver is responsible for leading and coordinating daily shipping, receiving, staging, documentation, and material movement activities in support of CBB’s specialized manufacturing operations. This role provides hands-on oversight of complex inbound and outbound shipments, including oversized and high-value components, while ensuring safe equipment operation, accurate documentation, effective carrier coordination, and consistent adherence to production priorities, quality expectations, and customer requirements.
• To perform part marking, ink stamping and engraving, on manufactured parts.• To package parts in a safe and secure manner for delivery to Customers.• An entry level position into the aerospace world with future growth opportunities. Responsibilities:• Part marking, in fine detail, by ink stamping and engraving manufactured parts,• Packaging of product for shipment to Customer, in a manner ensuring security and safety of parts.• Maintain detailed manufacturing records per AS9100 and Company procedures,• Assisting Production and Quality teams as necessary.• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.• Adhere to all Company Health and Safety rules and regulations.• Required to support all shifts. Skills and Qualifications:• Keen attention to detail.• Ability to lift and handle packages up to 50 pounds.• Clear communication skills.• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.• Strong desire to work in a team environment.• Continually strive and contribute to the whole team working at an “A” level.• High School Diploma.• Working knowledge of Office 365 and Microsoft Teams. Additional skills accepted:• Experience with mechanical measuring devices,• Reports directly to the QC Manager.
