POSITION SUMMARYWe are looking for an experienced 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician to join our team on our Mosaic Potash Belle Plaine LocationWage: $30.55/hr - $32.90/hr depending on hours for 3rd year and $37.60/hr for 4th year Shift: 10 days on, 4 days off (10-hour days) (subject to change based on needs)Term: Position will end mid-late NovemberNote: This is not a camp position. Accommodations are not provided. Need to get to site on own accord. RESPONSIBILITIES-Establish and maintain good relations with site personnel and customers-Comply with Company’s corporate Health and Safety manual -Adhere to both Flyer Electric and customer policies and procedures-Ensure project safety, profitability, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction. -Responsible for the efficient use of materials and equipment, and for overseeing the performance of all field-related activities for each task/project.-Ensure field work is executed in compliance with project plans including specifications, project schedule, budget, quality, safety, and customer requirements -Complete and maintain appropriate documentation including all required safety documentation and daily progress reports (LEM’s)-Attend daily and weekly site meetings, as well as all mandatory training-Maintain a professional image and demonstrate positive attitude, teamwork, and workmanship-Provide safe and effective supervision and guidance to personnel when needed-Guide and train apprentices in the proper use of tools, materials, and techniques for most efficient electrical installations-Lead others by example -Perform any other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS-Current Apprenticeship Certificates-Current Fall Pro and EWP Certificates-Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel regularly -Valid Class 5 driver’s license -Clear & maintain a clean driving abstract and drug/alcohol clearance.-Must be legally entitled to work in Canada HOW TO APPLYPlease submit your resume to [email protected] or apply directly through our website: https://www.flyerelectric.com/pages/careers.
