The RoleBushbalm is seeking an organized, proactive, and people-focused HR Coordinator to support our growing team. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Coordinator is a new role and will play a key role in supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, HR operations, and employee engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing administrative excellence with employee support and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
In this Role, You Will:Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate scheduling, interview coordination, and candidate communications.
  • Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process and maintain an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Manage applicant tracking systems and ensure candidate records are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with reference checks and preparation of employment offers.

Onboarding and Off-boarding
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, including employment documentation, system setup, and orientation schedules.
  • Ensure all onboarding materials and employee records are completed and maintained accurately.
  • Support employee off-boarding processes, including exit documentation and equipment coordination.

HR Administration
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepare employment letters, contract amendments, and other HR-related documentation.
  • Support payroll administration by maintaining employee information and assisting with employee changes, while maintaining communication with the finance team
  • Assist with benefits administration, employee enrollments, and employee inquiries.

Employee Experience and Engagement
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.
  • Assist with employee communications and HR-related announcements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.

Compliance and HR Operations
  • Support compliance with employment standards, workplace policies, and HR best practices.
  • Assist with maintaining HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates.
  • Support health and safety initiatives and required workplace documentation.
  • Generate HR reports and provide administrative support for various HR projects.

What you Bring:
  • 1–3 years of experience in an HR, administrative, or coordinator role.
  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Monday.com, and HRIS (Humi) is an asset.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment is considered an asset.
  • CHRP designation or working toward certification is considered an asset
  • Experience with supporting employees across Canada and in the USA is an asset
