The RoleWe’re currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Lighting Division. Based out of our Coquitlam office, this role plays a critical function in executing and supporting commercial and industrial lighting projects across our territory. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with internal sales teams, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure projects are executed smoothly and professionally from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create and submit drawings for approval and record-only purposes
  • Review and interpret returned drawings, flagging revisions and updates to customers and manufacturers
  • Accurately enter and release manufacturer orders
  • Provide pricing for adders, deletions, or quantity changes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate with accounting to ensure timely project billing
  • Liaise with manufacturers and distributors to track and expedite orders as required
  • Maintain organized and current project files, including all related documentation and correspondence

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Energetic, resourceful, and a confident problem-solver
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects with shifting priorities
  • Familiarity with electrical, lighting, or trades-related environments is an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)
  • Experience with Oasis software is an asset
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is an asset
