Trolley Driver

As a Trolley Driver at Kingston Trolley Tours, you will safely operate one of Kingston's iconic red trolleys along designated routes throughout downtown Kingston. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and professionalism. Trolley Drivers are also responsible for vehicle inspections, record-keeping and reporting, and must work both independently and as part of a team.
We are currently seeking candidates with existing B, C, D or AZ licenses.
Work part-time on a flexible schedule, or provide full availability to achieve full-time hours during Kingston's busy summer tourism season. Pay range for this role ($20 - $24/hour) is tied to a candidate's specific qualifications and background (skills, licenses, experience). • Positive attitude and approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
• Strong verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in other languages is an asset, especially French.
• Current “C” class license or higher required.
• A training path may be available for current “G” license holders with a clean record required, please inquire.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and courteously operate company vehicles.
• Drive safely in a variety of weather conditions, including rain and snow.
• Make effective use electronic communications and audio equipment, including passenger on/off reporting and other computerized equipment.
• Engage with guests during and between tours, including chatting with passengers during boarding, and welcoming new passengers at each stop.
• Interact with guests from all over the world, anticipating their needs and ensuring they have the best experience possible in our destination.
