The Proposal Lead at March Consulting is responsible for leading the development, coordination, and submission of strategic, high-quality proposals that support business growth and client acquisition. This role manages the full proposal lifecycle, collaborates with technical and business stakeholders across the organization, and ensures proposal deliverables meet client requirements, quality standards, and submission deadlines. The Proposal Lead contributes to the pursuit of new opportunities by developing compelling client-focused content, supporting business development initiatives, and continuously improving proposal processes and tools. March provides engineering, procurement, project, and construction management services to a variety of resource-based industrial and commercial enterprises. Position OverviewPrimary Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate proposal submissions and client presentations
- Manage the full proposal lifecycle from planning and kickoff through submission
- Review bid documents to identify requirements, risks, and opportunities
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to develop compelling, compliant proposals
- Write, edit, and refine content to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality
- Collect, input, and update data within our customer relationship management software
- Maintain and improve proposal templates, branding, and standard processes
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems and client requirements
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Support the transition of successful proposals to project execution teams
- Assist marketing in the development of project profiles and statements of qualifications
- Assist with technical report writing and reviews as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a technical, business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in proposal development, bid management, or a similar role
- Experience within engineering, consulting, or professional services environments
- Experience working with industrial and government client RFPs and online procurement portals
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate deadlines and stakeholders
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret and define scopes of work, methodologies, and deliverables for multi-disciplinary projects
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
- Experience with desktop publishing tools and AI-supported content development is an asset

Compensation: Commensurate with education and experience.

Work hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
