- Completing bank and credit card reconciliations;
- Maintaining the general ledger for A/R, A/P, fixed assets, payroll, etc;.
- Preparing, calculating, and filing GST, PST, T4s, T5s, and ROEs;
- Managing the end-to-end payroll process;
- Responsible for month-end close; and
- Supporting year-end compliance.
In addition to the responsibilities above, you'll build trusted relationships with your clients by providing timely, responsive, and high-quality service. - 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Bachelors in Business Administration/Commerce (accounting major) or a Diploma in Accounting.
- Can work independently, demonstrate accountability, and deliver expected results.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working with multiple clients considered an asset.
- Comfortable working with financial technology; enjoys embracing new systems and digital tools that enhance efficiency and the client experience.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
