Location: 704 South Gate Road, St. Andrews, Manitoba Salary Range: $20-$23 per hour (commensurate with experience and education) Term: Permanent, Full-time Reports To: VP of Charters and Domestic Services Job Summary:We are seeking a highly organized Base Coordinator with exemplary customer service skills to support the daily operations of our St. Andrews base. As a central point of contact for customers, pilots, aircraft groomers, and management, this role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth communication, efficient coordination, and exceptional customer service. This position combines administrative support, operational coordination, and front-line customer service in a fast-paced aviation environment. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic setting, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a point of contact for customers, pilots and visitors at the base
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, as needed operationally
- Welcome visitors and assist Charter Coordinator with customer arrivals, departures, and general inquiries.
- Coordinate daily communication between customers, pilots, aircraft groomers, maintenance personnel, and management.
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and operational inquiries, as required.
- Support coordination and work closely with SkyCare SOCC, including providing quotes to clients
- Support booking of resources such as crew accommodations or ground services.
- Coordinate office supplies, vendor services, and general office administration.
- Maintain cleanliness and overall organization of the front office/reception area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative, customer service, receptionist, or coordination role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Professional, customer-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing operational needs and priorities
