Purchasing Specialist

We're looking for a Purchasing Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems, building supplier relationships, and finding opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. • Source and purchase materials, products, and services to support manufacturing and project requirements
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing, lead times, and service agreements
• Issue and manage purchase orders while ensuring materials arrive on time and meet quality expectations
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate annual and cycle counts
• Analyze supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Resolve supply chain challenges including shortages, delays, backorders, and quality concerns
• Work closely with production, project management, and other departments to support project schedules
• Develop and maintain a reliable supplier network that supports company growth
• Contribute ideas that improve purchasing processes, inventory management, and overall operational efficiency

What You'll Bring

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a related role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of challenges
