Job descriptionNortheast Truck & Trailer is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts & Service Advisor to join our growing team at our Paradise (NL) location.
This position plays a key role in supporting our customers by coordinating service repairs, sourcing parts, and ensuring a positive customer experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities and requirements:
- Greet customers and assess their parts and service requirements.
- Create and manage service work orders and repair estimates.
- Coordinate repair schedules with technicians and customers.
- Identify, source, and order parts for commercial trailers and related equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of parts inventory, service activities, and customer communications.
- Process warranty claims and assist with warranty administration.
- Provide customers with updates on repair status and completion timelines.
- Prepare invoices and ensure accurate billing for parts and labour.
- Support the Parts and Service Departments in achieving operational and customer service goals.
- Promote a safe and professional work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a parts, service, or customer support role, preferably within the transportation, trucking, trailer, automotive, or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of commercial trailer components is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license.
Schedule:
- 8/9-hour shift
- Monday to Friday, Full-time
