Who We Seek:
As a Senior Copywriter you would be an integral part of the team collaborating with Strategy, Creative, Account and Production team members. You would need to combine deep understanding of cultural trends and be up to speed on our client’s businesses with a varied skill set that includes above all, big ideas thinking and copywriting. You will report directly to the Creative Director and ECD. What You Would Do at Milestone Integrated
- Work closely with clients to create strong concepts from initial briefing and presentation through to execution.
- Set tone and drive creativity, working closely with an Art Director partner, forming a creative team.
- Master a variety of brand voices and ensuring consistency and quality, you will write, research, and conceptualize creative, innovative content that brings readership, encourages sharing, and drives transactions.
- Work closely with our Media strategists to gain understanding of key audiences and leverage insights and consumer truths.
- Adept at Repurposing existing content for different uses and write short and long form articles, social captions, headlines, banner copy, social copy.
- Maintain a high awareness of relevant trending topics and news to identify content opportunities.
- Conceptualize larger projects i.e., fully integrated 360 campaigns, content videos, social media, and XM events.
What You Need to Be Great in This Role
- A link to your portfolio/book within your resume to showcase your conceptual and writing ability.
- 8+ years of experience in copywriting as a Creative Advertising Copywriter
- Acquired strong knowledge of social media best practices and experience in writing digital/social is an absolute MUST (paid and organic).
- Demonstrated ability to combine and translate complex material from different sources and contexts into stories and content that engage and resonate with target audiences.
- A flair with words, a thorough understanding of the language and needs inherent to writing for shopper marketing with an emphasis to use data and insights.
- A powerful grasp of how content can play out across multiple mediums.
- Experience working as part of a traditional creative team (Art Director and Copywriter).
- Confident presenting and communicating clearly to other team members and clients.
