Job Details:
The ideal candidate will be an autonomous individual who is a self-starter with a strong client servicing orientation and the ability to work collaboratively with the entire team. This new role will report to the Vice-President with an expected annual compensation range of $90,000–$120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client onboarding, KYC/documentation, account setup, and ongoing operational support in collaboration with compliance.
- Manage RFP/DDQ responses and coordinate across internal teams.
- Support client account analysis, fund performance reviews, and reporting.
- Deliver responsive, high-quality service and act as a trusted client resource.
- Prepare client communications, presentations, and portfolio insights using internal data and investment team input.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers on strategy updates and client materials.
- Support marketing initiatives, including content creation, website updates, and campaigns.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Maintain CRM data, reporting, and client outreach lists.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with institutional clients (e.g., family offices, foundations, endowments).
- Develop relationships with investment consultants and promote PBY strategies.
- Confidently present investment philosophy, process, and performance in various settings.
- Represent the firm at industry events and with clients across Ontario and Western Canada.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–10 years in investment management, relationship management, or business development in Canada.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Client-focused, detail-oriented, and team-driven.
- Solid knowledge of capital markets, investment strategies, and institutional investor decision-making.
- Experience with multi-asset and fixed-income strategies is an asset.
- Registration with OSC (or equivalent) or eligibility required.
- CFA or CIM designation preferred.
- University graduate preferred.
