Stock Picker / Shipper Receiver

JOB SUMMARY:The Stock Picker / Shipper-Receiver plays a key role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and safe movement of materials throughout the Plant. This position is responsible for picking stock to meet production schedules, receiving inbound goods, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting all shipping and distribution functions to ensure on‑time delivery to customers. The role requires strong attention to detail, a safety‑first mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:Education:

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant courses and forklift/tow‑motor training

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of accident‑free stand‑up forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience using RF scanners (asset)

Requirements:

• Current and valid Forklift Certification (Reach Truck, Double Deep Reach, Order Picker, Dock Stocker, Walkie/Double Walkie).
• Proof of certification from a reputable training provider, including signed test results or affidavit.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends as required

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Safely pick, stage, and prepare stock according to production schedules and order requirements.
2. Handle inbound and outbound shipments, including loading, unloading, and verifying materials.
3. Accurately use RF scanners for picking, put‑away, replenishment, and inventory accuracy.
4. Perform timely and organized return of unused overstock to inventory locations.
5. Operate Raymond/Crown/Yale stand‑up reach trucks, order pickers, walkies, and other warehouse equipment safely.
6. Complete daily pre‑operational inspections for all powered equipment.
7. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
8. Support general warehouse tasks and additional duties assigned by leadership.
