Who You Are
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles
- Ability to interpret, understand, and explain purchase orders
- Understanding of inventory management
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Timely processing of Purchase orders generated from the Stock usage report while assuring proper order quantities are maintained
- Processing of verified Purchase requisitions for non-stock items
- Monitoring Purchase orders and confirm pricing, package size, order quantities and delivery dates are accurate
- Source new products/price quotations and provide information to requestors and management when requested
- Monitor usage trends on all inventory items, review order points, to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained
- Filing and keeping organized records for all Purchase order documentation
- Follow up and expedite all Purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Successful completion of secondary school
- College Diploma in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
- Valid driver’s license
- WHMIS training
- Ability to communicate in the local native Cree language is an asset
