Job SummaryReporting to the Aquatics Manager, the Pool Operator is part of the Aquatics Department. The Pool Operator is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of all saltwater pool systems and mechanical facilities at the Club. This includes ensuring that water quality, filtration systems, heating, and chemical balances meet all health and safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities· Monitor and maintain all swimming pool systems, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feeders.
Skills and Experience· Valid Pool Operator Certification (Level I or II) preferred.· Experience in pool maintenance, facilities operations, or mechanical systems is an asset.· Basic understanding of plumbing, HVAC, and water systems.· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.· Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working in “back-of-house” environments.· Ability to lift moderate weights (up to 50lbs.) and perform physical tasks safely.· Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.· Solid written and verbal communication skills· Exceptional problem-solving skills

- Maintain acid barrel level and concentration.
- Change and clean controller filters.
- Cell replacement and cleaning.
- Address water contaminations as needed.
- Complete emergency work as needed.
- Completed during facility closure hours of 9pm-6am.

- Restock and clean water test stations.
