Do you consider yourself a high-performance Sales executive? Do you love developing winning sales strategies and having the freedom to execute and experiment relentlessly to get results? Is your imagination inspired by having your earning potential being limited only by your own ability to bring in revenue? In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our future sales organization, in our mission to maximize funding from R&D tax credits, government funding programs, specialized loans and venture capital, for our SMB clients. You’ll have your own individual sales contributions to make, and eventually build, nurture, and grow a high performance sales team. You will report directly to the CEO.
Location: Toronto, ON (Remote Hybrid - one day in the office)
Responsibilities
  • Bring net new business to Flow - find, nurture and close sales across Canada
  • Consistently meet or exceed annual new business quotas
  • Set monthly, quarterly, annual performance targets and provide detailed sales forecasting and results
  • Effectively communicate Flow’s value proposition through proposals, presentations, representation at events and more
  • Maintain and share your understanding of the broader market and customer needs to influence marketing, sales and pricing strategies and business planning
  • Meet clients, attend events, and capitalize on networking opportunities - be out in the community
  • Grow and develop your career as the company grows - hire, retain, and manage top sales talent to scale what you’re doing

RequirementsOur ideal candidate embodies an entrepreneurial spirit, views ambiguity as opportunity, and has a keen sense of empathy for people. Although we are a remote-hybrid team, you will need to be out in the community to succeed doing both inside and outside sales.
  • 5 years or more of proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • In-depth knowledge of and multiple successfully executed selling strategies and methods, ideally in a professional services firm
  • Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of our services and position them against competitors
  • Be comfortable and natural communicating and influencing at all levels in organizations, including at the Executive and the C-level
  • Ability to travel in Canada regularly (up to 20% of the time)
Nice to have:
  • Prior experience with SR&ED, Grants, and general B2B sales
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
  • Entrepreneurial experience an asset

Interview Process
  1. Introduction: 30 minute video conference to assess general fit and expectations
  2. Skills: 90 minutes in person for you to make a fantastic presentation to impress us, and completion of a live exercise that demonstrates your sales discipline & savviness
  3. Team: 60 minutes in person to meet with other team member(s) and make sure Flow is a company that’s a fit for you
  4. Debrief: 30 minute video conference with CEO

Compensation
  • $100,000 to $130,000 (OTE $240,000+)
