Senior Associate

MerGen Law LLP is actively seeking a seasoned and empathetic Senior Associate, with a call to the bar of 10 years or more, to join our dedicated and diverse legal family on a full-time, part-time, or independent contractor basis!
We are keen to engage an individual with an extensive practice in law, focusing on estate administration and probate, estate litigation, commercial real estate, mergers and acquisitions, entertainment, and trademark law.
This is an excellent opportunity for you if you are retired from full time practice but looking for ways to give back to the profession or someone seeking more flexibility in their work hours.
Personal traits, such as a great conversationalist and a genuine desire to nurture and mentor less experienced associates, legal assistants and law students, are highly valued in our firm. We also highly regard the ability to work effectively with and value contributions from team members of diverse backgrounds.
A small law firm experience is preferred but not required. As a vital part of our MerGen family, we seek an individual who is not only outgoing and adaptable, but also eager to share experiences, willing to teach others, proactive, motivated to contribute to our robust team, and confident in handling challenges independently. With the high-pressure environment and tight deadlines typical of law firms, your ability to perform effectively under stress is essential.
