Senior Accounting Clerk

Vancouver Laser & Skin Care Centre/R-MEDY Group is a physician directed cosmetic & wellness clinic that has been open since 1996. As one of the largest Aesthetic Medical Clinics in Canada, we specialize in non-surgical cosmetic enhancements.
The successful applicant should have good attention to detail, the motivation to show initiative, and be able to work well in a team environment with effective communication. Good interpersonal communication skill is an asset.
Responsibilities:

• Perform various Accounts Receivable duties
• Perform various Accounts Payable duties
• Record journal entries and assist with month end and year end
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts
• Using the highest standards and practices to ensure financial documents comply with the law
• Collecting and verifying financial information
• Maintaining a general ledger by inputting daily financial transactions
• Preparing financial statements, producing accounting reports, and checking them for accuracy

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma in accounting
• Experience with Excel and Word
• Experience with Quickbooks Online
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and team
• Detail oriented with strong personal work ethic

Experience:

• Full Cycle Bookkeeping: 2 years (required)
• QuickBooks Online: 1 year (preferred)
